Just a day after the announcement of the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54, design details and specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A24 have been revealed thanks to the Israeli website Gadgety.
The leak suggests that Samsung’s next entry-level smartphone will inherit the appearance of the newly announced models while boasting a balanced technical sheet and a big battery.
Leaked images show the possible Galaxy A24 in lime green, wine red, black, and silver (with a color-changing reflective finish) with a triple rear camera and LED flash in the same arrangement as the Galaxy A34 and A54.
The device is described as having a Super AMOLED screen with a size of 6.5 inches, Full HD resolution, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits.
Samsung is expected to equip the Galaxy A24 with a Snapdragon 680 processor with 4G connectivity, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, in addition to delivering a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
As for the camera setup, the mid-range smartphone is expected to feature a 13 MP front sensor (with an f/2.0 aperture), three rear cameras with a 50 MP main sensor (with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS), an ultrawide lens with 5 MP (with an f/2.2 aperture), and a 2 MP macro lens (with an f/2.4 aperture).
Details related to the announcement, launch forecast, and price are still unknown, but the device is expected to be presented about a year after the announcement of the Galaxy A23 (review), which took place in August 2022.
However, Samsung Turkey confirmed in a press release that “other members of the [company’s intermediary] series, such as the Galaxy A24, will arrive in the Turkish market in the coming months” without confirming a specific launch date.
