Samsung is preparing to launch its next generation of mid-range smartphones, and leaked information about the design and specifications of the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G has already surfaced. Now, more details indicate the announcement date of the smartphones and all their color options.
According to tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks on Twitter), a “very reliable” source revealed that Samsung will introduce the intermediary duo on March 15th.
Although the leak is not guaranteed, it is extremely plausible that the company will hold a presentation event this month, given that both Galaxy A33 and A53 were presented on March 17 last year.
Supposedly official images of the smartphones have also been leaked, showing their designs in four color options. The Galaxy A34 5G is expected to come in green, purple, “pearl” with multiple shades in iridescent effect and black, while the Galaxy A54 5G should come in green, purple, white and black, but now with a glossy back cover instead of matte.
As for the specifications, the Galaxy A34 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED screen with Full HD resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 chip, a 13 MP front camera, and a triple rear camera with a 48 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 5 MP macro lens.
The Galaxy A54 is expected to feature a 6.4-inch OLED screen, also with Full HD resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 chip, a 32 MP front camera, and three rear cameras with a 50 MP main lens, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and a 5 MP macro lens.
Both smartphones are expected to offer IP67 certification against water and dust for greater durability, run Android 13 out of the box, and come with a 5,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 25 Watts.
Leaks suggest that the starting prices of the smartphones would be 420 euros for the Galaxy A34 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and around 540 euros for the Galaxy A54 with 8GB + 128GB.
